Default Hello all new here.

Hey all. Names Justin. I'm 25 from Wisconsin and I'm a car nut. I love cars as well as other typical guy stuff (guns, games, girls, music, etc). I love all cars as well as all types of racing. V8's and drag racing mainly, but I also like autoX'ing.

My current project car is a 1994 Ford Mustang GT. It's got a 5.0L V8, 5-speed manual trans, and 3:73 gears. It's also got Trickflow H/C/I package as well as a large assortment of bolt-on's including a 100 shot of nitrous.

Some of my previous cars include a 1974 Chevrolet Nova Custom. It had a 350 ci V8 with a 4-speed manual trans, and 3:90 gears, ported heads, cam, ported intake manifold, 750 cfm carb, MSD ignition, full exhaust, drag shocks, traction bars, etc, etc, etc.

And a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Extreme. It had a 2.2L I4, 5-speed manual trans, and 3:73 gears with a few bolt-ons but nothing major.

The Nova I mainly did a bit of street racing with (childish I know) and never ran it at a track. It was faster then a 12.5 cause I was easily beating guys with mid-12 timeslips.

The Mustang I bought from a friend last summer and personally haven't run at a track. He ran it once on regular street tires and ran a 14.3 @ 118.2 with the nitrous (he's a crappy driver and spun the tires clear into 3ed gear), and another friend ran the car later that day and he ran a 12.3 babying it out the whole and not hitting the juice till 2ed gear. It was his first time driving the car but he has a 10 second nitrous fox body.

I plan on taking the 'Stang to the track next summer and running it.

Yeah with some good tires I bet that Nova would have been in the 11's with what you listed. Have you done anything else to the Mustang GT since you bought it? I just bought an '09 Mustang GT... already spent some time and money on it and will have it on the track this Summer.

True street and strip are different. The strip is a bit slicker (the one by me is anyways) and getting a good launch there is harder then out in the industrial park. I never took the Nova there cause of the tires I had.

I'm replacing the rims and tires on the 'Stang next spring as well as maybe a new hood and getting rid of the yellow stripe as well as some small stuff like shocks, brake rotors and a MSD distributor. I haven't done much to it. My friend put on a Trickflow street burner engine package, 24# injectors, MAS sensor, headers, OR H-pipe, cat-back, cai, underdrive pullies, MSD 6AL ignition box and coil, 3:73 gears, short shifter, Eibach springs, upper and lower rear trailing arms, cobra wing, SCT flipchip w/dyno tune, and the NX wet kit spraying a 100 shot. He bought it painted like it was with the hood.

Ha ha actually it IS painted on. It's that color changing garbage. If it was black it wouldn't be so bad, but no it's gotta be purple.

I actually like it (hence why I bought it), I can honestly say I have only seen one other car painted like it and it was the Saleen RRR Speedlab race cars.

Yeah it's a love it or hate it thing. Most men hate it (especially pre-pubesent ones) and most women like it (especially pre-pubesent ones). lol

Working on that too. Damn 9 month long winter is keeping that at bay though.

I got Ford Racing shortie headers Mac Performance 2.5 inch off-road H-pipe with prochamber, and a Mac Performance 2.5 inch cat-back. It's pretty loud. I've gotten talked to a few times about it from my neighbors.

I love the old LX foxbodies. I was looking for one until my friend offered to sell me the SN95.
