Hey all,
I signed up for this forum quite a while ago just for a video of the Nurburgring (Man, I love that track!) I think it was a BMW M3 flying around it in startling fashion. Anyways, I forgot I had signed up here until I recently got the 1st newsletter. So I decided to make my presence known. Well, not much to say...I turn 22 in 3 days, I love cars, girls, videogames and alcohol. Not all at the same time, maybe the girls and alcohol go together...but sometimes that turns out badly. Haha, also I pretend to be good at photography so that takes up a little bit of my free time. Anyways, onto my cars...the real point of the post!I'll start with my regular DD. ![]() 1988 Toyota Corolla ~ 1.6 liters, 5 speed, power steering. That's really about it. I picked it up from my friend when he got a new car for 150 bucks! It came with an alpine CD player that was worth that much. It really can't get out of it's own way but when I'm rippin 32 mpg in the city, I could care less! Oh, and it just turned 242,000 miles, I'm aiming for 300,000 miles! I think I could make it!Next, my special DD. ![]() 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP - 3.8 liter Supercharged, Automatic. 56,000 miles on it. Wow, where to begin? This is the car that started it all, she's come so far it's almost hard to believe...every single engine mod performed was installed by myself. However, those are going to wait..because I have a few appearance mods. ![]() Appearance ~ ASCD Ram Air Hood Side Moldings removed GTP badges removed 06 Mustang GT wheels with Pirelli PZero Nero's 15% tint Black Clear corners 3 gauge pod with Boost, Oil Pressure, Tranny temp Engine Mods: Thrasher Cold Air Intake Ported Throttle Body (Stage 1 from ZZPerformance) Ported Supercharger (Triple Edge Performance) 3.0 Supercharger pulley (started with a 3.8) LS6 valve springs INTENSE oil restricted pushrods 42lb injectors The Other Guys Headers 206/216 115 LSA cam (VS Cam from ZZPerformance) SLP Loudmouth Custom Tune I *THINK* that is it... Need to do: Beef up the tranny as it is starting to slip a little bit. Get an intercooler and get into the 12's! As it sits this is a low 13 second car, which is plenty good enough for a daily driver for me! Now, my baby: ![]() 1988 Mazda RX-7 10th Anniversary Edition (1 of 1500 made in 1988) ![]() 1998 LS1 (5.7 liter, 346 cubes) with a T-56 6 speed, it was a pullout from a 98 Camaro Wow, it's almost hard to believe this guy is nearly done. Most of the work was done by a friend of mine who has one himself, and I watched and learned. I mean, I did get my hands dirty and help but I learned a TON! Would I have been able to pull this swap off without him? Probably, but would it have been as nice? No! Haha. I bought this car in February 2006 for 2200 dollars with the engine pulled out of it. I sold all the rotary parts and made 2300 dollars! So really, I got paid to get this car. But one thing I learned is that this project car thing will nickel and dime you to death! Anyways, enough of my jibba jabba...here's the mod list. Engine: ~ Performance Race Components Stage 1.5 LS6 Heads with 2.04/1.56 valves ~ MTI G1 on a 115 LSA + 4 (228/232 .588/.575) ~ Comp Cams Rollers ~ 7.4 inch Comp Cams hardened pushrods ~ Crane Dual valvesprings (rated up to .650 lift) ~ LS2 Timing Chain ~ ARP headstuds ~ Lingenfelter rod bolts ~ JagsthatRun longtubes ~ LS6 Intake Manifold ~ ASP 25% Underdrive pulley ~ Corksport 80mm Catback Transmission: ~ Katech LS7 Clutch ~ Stainless steel clutch line ~ Pro5.0 power tower with Steeda Tri-ax handle ~ 06 GTO Slave Cylinder ~ Wilwood 7/8 bore Master cylinder Suspension: ~ B&G Lowering Springs ~ Full Energy Suspension Bushings ~ Suspension Techniques front and rear swaybars Brakes: ~ Brembo OE replacement front rotors ~ Hawk HPS Pads ~ Corksport Stainless Steel brake lines Cooling: ~ Griffin aluminum race radiator (27.5 x 19) ~ Taurus Fan Fuel: ~ Walboro 255lph fuel pump ~ 01 Corvette Fuel Pressure Regulator ~36lb injectors Miscellaneous: ~ Autometer Cobalt Series of the following: -Speedometer -Tachometer -Oil Pressure -Water Temperature -Programable Fuel Level ~ Manual Steering Rack ~ Modified C4 driveshaft VIDEO: Of LS10AE firing. Careful now, it's a bit loud. Here ya go!Phew, I think that's it. Any questions/comments/concerns feel free to post up and I'll do my best. Also, I have a lot more pics of the RX-7 during it's build, I can make a thread on that if some people want? Take care all!

Thanks all, I love my cars. Even the Corolla.
Well, UKunt it *SHOULD* be a low 11, maybe even a high 10 second car given I can drive. And that has yet to be determined because I'm going from a low 13 second fwd sedan to a rwd sports car. I have a ton (Probably only 8, actually) of videos of my GTP racing, I'll post them up when I find a place that will host. Once I get a y-pipe made I'll make a video of my RX-7. All I know is, from when I have driven it. It's been more than a handful, rolling burnouts in second are insanely easy. My prediction is that traction is going to become a rare commodity in my neck of the woods very soon. ![]() |

Sweet cars, what kind of horsepower are you making on that gxp? those things are mustang slayers out of the box, it must be fun to surprise the hell out of people with it.

A stock GTP usually runs around a mid 14, I am a low 13 second car now. Well, before my transmission started slipping because of all the power that I'm putting through it. |
