a corvette needs mods to compare to a civic in cornering?

since when?A civic has to use its brakes, a corvette can hang it lol.

the viper doesnt even compare to the corvette in its corner ability. I dont see many civics in the La Mans

you'd have to drive a corvette to understand the cornering ability of these machines, lol. Im sure there are plenty of videos to prove how they are. But they are not ''drift'' cars.

not to get me wrong im sure there are imports out there that are good for those things(350z), but when you think of a car that is a domestic for the cross your thinking of a Corvette. The Corvette Z06 outclassed the Mustang Cobra-R and Viper GTS on the track and was americas number 1 domestic car

actually when i think muscle i dont' think corvette...nor viper lol those are in a class of there own...i'm talking mustangs and stuff liek that...a mustang has to have a good driver who knows what he's doing to take a corner good..i raced a mustang on sorta a bunch of curves....it was near one of our highways.. they where doing construction and the raod they made the detour in had many curves...anyhow racing him i flew by him but then in the staright he jsut blew my door out with out any effort...

as for a corvette a guy i work with has one and i seen that thing take a curve was a sight to see..

but for me import would be evo, skyline, s200, stuff like that a civic liek mine is import but nothing lol (until you start changing the engine )

I wouldnt mind one of those new Mitsubishi Evos or a Subaru WRX STI, think im about to get a import soon. Before July I might be in a new Nissan 350z

Not a quick car, but I like the way they look

I have got to put me .2 in this. I have nothing against a Civic or a Vette. But a Vette can pull .90g on a skidpad stock........Don't think a Civic can stock. Now thats handling to me.

doesn't matter stock for stock the corvette is a high price and the civic is shitty price....so basically you want better hanfling and everything amazing...STOCK...you have to pay extra thats why a civic is 20 000$ and a corvette is 70 000$ (thats the difference in cars take a civic put 50 000$ into it and it will do everything the corvette can...jsut that IT WILL STILL BE A CIVIC) now stop talking about it cuz everything will get deleteed..

well just wondered if u forgot or something but there are many european cars that can kick the s* out of most american and japanese cars... Just so u know...

remeber that i said most... and the corvette is not built for track use, but I guess u cold think that if u only have driven crappy challengers and other muscle cars whith no roadholding...

I drove a maserati biturbo and a corvette last year at a track meet... Need I say more

edit: the corvette was a c5 whit automatic transmitions... (the automatic gearbox was not my cup of tea )
