Look at the June 2004 Issue of Eurotuner Magazine, the car has a verified 850whp at 8000rpm before he broke the dyno (!!!) "...produced well over 850hp to the wheels at around 8000rpm before the dyno started reading errors - and the car revs to upward of 11,000rpm. Using a 15% drivetrain-loss calculation, at 8000rpm the car was making over 1000hp. Considering Dahback claims the motor pulls strong until just under 11,000 rpm-with the power increasing dramatically in the last couple thousand of rpm-it's reasonable to assume, considering the motor's power curve was climing at the point the dyno stopped reading, that the car would have likely gained another 100 to 200 horses in the remaining available revs." Oh, and the cover of the magazine reads in big bold lettering "Dahlback Racing's 1200hp Turbo Golf" Crazy? yes!!
