Hey, Grale Guy, if you are still there!
Ive a yr 2000 Brazillian T2 from Beetles UK. It has been converted to RHD by BUK when I bought it. The steering has always been really really heavy, much more so than my previous 1973 T2. I think its heavier than when it was LHD ( I had it for about a month as a LHD before it could be booked in for the conversion), also it is always jumping out of 1st gear, ive tried several different levers, currently on a Gene Berg, but its almost like its got two gates for 1st gear and if you select the wrong one, which happens about 50% of teh time it shudders and jumps out. Any ideas would be welcome. |
