Isn't that the 2.0TFsi engine?

If it is than it's the same engine as mine.
Does yours also have DSG?

Chiptuned STAGE 1 (like mine) it produces 246 whp

Nice car!

Yes, it's the 2.0TFsi engine.
Mine is DSG, we don't offer manual in my country.
I am also considering which chip should I have.....what chip are u using right now? And how do u feel about the chip so far?

I did not use a new chip, but they rewrote the software.
The extra 46 horses (almost 25% more) are a huge difference and torque has increased with 25%.

But to be honest: here in Europe we like corners more than drag, so all those horses on the frontwheels aren't such a huge win. Putting the foot on the accelerator in a corner means going straight because of all the power on the frontwheels. But hey... it is still faster on the track than a stock 2.0TFsi

On the nurburgring I'm able to keep up with f.e. a Porsche Boxter 3.4S but in the heavy cornering-bits they shake me off due to the frontwheeldrive.

Btw: the stock 2.0TFsi engine is a beauty, don't be so modest but you have to be carefull with adding power, because the DSG can only take a limited amount of torque... think it's about 360-370Nm

You car looks nice btw, i see them a lot overhere, but not as modded as yours Grats !

Go with the APR chip... they actually replace the ECU, which opens up the option of hot-switching between programs without any equipment or plugins or anything. The stage 1 91 octane tune gives me ~240hp/280ft-lb and is very driveable on a daily basis. The DSG is something to be concerned about, but not until at least 300+ft-lb of torque so long as you're not using the launch control. The transmission computer controlling the clutches cuts power when it feels the clutches slipping at anything above 10mph, so unless you are making so much torque that the clutches can't handle it even with the power cut its not something to worry about. The rest of the gearbox is actually tougher than your normal automatic because its based on a dog-ring sequential setup instead of a torque converter automatic. Great little car, and fun as hell to drive once you get friendly with entry speed and trail braking to help get over the understeer.
