Nice sleeper, but a waste of a LS1 to me. That volvo is like riding a brick down the road, no looks or areodynamics what so ever.

A mid 80's transam has a CD of 0.29. Even factoring in frontal area, it was more aerodynamic than an R34 skyline or mkiv supra. Yah, all american cars are aerodynamic as a brick. The only modern american sports car that continues to have poor aero is the viper.

And why the waste of an LS1, whats so special about a freaking LS1 that it is repulsive about the brick? you should see how many volvo's rip the living sh1t out of goofy americans, go to sweeden, US breeders are a laughing stock as they get completely destroyed by 1970's 242 rust buckets. The way i see it, that ridiculous ls1 is BLESSED to be in a volvo and some american overpriced sh1tbox, and its also blessed for having a TT setup. funniest thing is, those dudes are as american as america gets, and they went volvo loll... maybe when you drive a brick you'll appreciate it

ummm....yeah...ok. I have driven several newer volvos and let me tell you.....THEY SUCKED. No power what so ever. And the volvo in that video was a waste to put that motor in. It was a do-do color, wagon=barf, and had the looks of a pile of dog shit w/ 4 wheels.

I hear what your saying and I said the same thing too " nice sleeper" , but it definatly should feel like a lucky car to have one of the most sought after late model engines under it's hood. Can't beat the cost vs. performance of the gen III LS1. I have seen low mileage fully assembled 6 speed LS1 motors go for $2000 bucks, that's a steal for a reliable and powerful engine.
