that has to be difficult with the 244 with its strong arm steering and 8 turn lock to lock.

Hey Zora,
I'm also working on a 242 for drifting. ;-) My 244 has a B230FT turbo engine with 900gr. turbopressure and chiptuned. It has approx. 230 hp. My next project, the 242, should have 300 hp. Nice to have another Volvo drifter in the future. Cheers, Brickdrifter |

It's a great engine, I have only B23E without turbo, and I don't know how many horse power the maximum, what I can do it. I'm finding a turbo engine, but in my country I didn't hit yet... Your car have catalyst? Because B230FT F=catalyst, and it's reduction more than 15 horse power! Wherefrom? |

@Zora242: No, my car doesn't have a catalyst anymore. So no restriction there. :-) The B23E makes approx. 140 hp. You could get some more out of it but it's gonna cost money. Better stick a turbo in it. You start with 160 hp and is easier to tune. I'm from Belgium btw. Cheers, Brickdrifter ![]() |
