Ohhh and the Volvo, hell most Volvo's came/come with turbo's if you weren't stupid and realized that. The stopped on the 240 series in 83, mines an 86. And I wonder how much he spent on his little rice burner for all that, thousands I'm sure. So here's my price rundown:

Car: $150 -- Turbo: Free -- Intercooler: Free -- Transmisson Cooler: Free -- Oil Cooler: Free -- Installation: Free(and easy because it has the same engine that the turbo came from).

Also, last time I checked there isn't lots of aftermarket parts for 83 Celica's and 86 Volvo's. Basically, you dunno wtf your talking about. Cuz everyone here is talking about how that's A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME ON A SHITBOX, my two projects... more-less free.

You have my permission to never talk to me again, thx.

lol,That paseo would work your celica in a race, infact it wouldnt even be a race!!!! LMAO you got your celica up to 130mph on ****ing jackstands!!!! a ****ing geo metro could do that shit with no strain like that on it. You think you can just slap a turbo on a car and its going to be fast lol, theirs alot more then that too it. A td05 is the turbo the mitsu came with, also the starion has the same motor and turbo if YOU wernt so stupid. NO really most volvos came with turbos, its the only way they make power, with out them their nothing. And yes i do know alittle about modding a car with no aftermarket support and making it fast. All in all you have the shitbox! I dont care how much he put into it. The fact is he made a car that everyone would bag on and made it into something he likes. And when you get your turbo on both of your cars that dude will still beat you in a race! We even had someguy on here say he is pushing 225-230 hp. And you say thats bad? Thats alot for that light thing. And if you think your 83 celica is still fast i got a 1986 import that would still work it even with the damn turbo, sitting out side.

When did I say that it wasn't fast? Did I say that? Oops I didn't. I SAID IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY

So, why try to knock on my simple long-term projects that, as I said before, are going to cost next to nothing, when this guy obviously invested a serious amount of money into the wrong car. I'll see your '86 yard car and raise you a 500hp supercharged trans am that I have access too. Body-kits not included!

You don't know anything about what I have access to or what I could do. What's funny is that if I wanted I could buy that paseo from my friend and turbo charge that, but why? What a waste. Oh and what difference does it make where a turbo comes from? As long as it works and you know what your doing. See I'm not doing this myself I'm doing it with my dad, who has over 20yrs of experience, and is ASE certified, oh and owns his own shop. Also, the owner of the shop adjacent to ours that only does tuning(dynojet, etc.) will be helping to.

And what if we scrap that 22-RE and end up putting in something like a twinturbo rotary engine? Ouch, I'm sure your 86 could keep up with that right? What's funny is that your only focusing on me because I'm the only one that has pictures of my cars put up for people to see, why don't you waste your time picking on other members cuz I for one, really don't give two shits about some little ****er who doesn't even know me, maybe you can get something out of someone else. Oh and lastly I find it funny that you try to crack on one of the most reliable cars makers in the world (volvo), seeing as mine is crusing strong with 191,000 miles on it and has no plans of stopping before it hits 291... Dumbass. And yes, volvos are slow

You said your celica probbaly already runs faster then that paseo! I consider that as saying it isnt fast. LOL you wanna race me in a 500 hp trans am. Yes that should beat me in a race, but the thing is that it ISNT YOURS and you put no time, effort or money into it to make it what it is. So you would have no joy in racing what you made fast, and thats half the fun knowing your the one that made the car fast. I hate people that act like that, "well my cusins car would beat you or my daddys car or whatever." I could care less what someone elses car does its all about what yours does. Dont call out races in others peoples cars thas ****ing gay. And I dont even have rims on my "yard car" The only exterior mod is a carbon fiber hood and lowered. Id love to see you put a twin turbo rotary in it also btw. The reason i picked on you was because even though every one talked trash about it most of them had something good to say about it also. And as for reliability try to mess with the toyota truck sitting in the front of my house, its pushing 380 thousand miles on it and nothing internal has ever been tutched or the trans for that matter, and its a daily driver runs perfect!

It also shows something about you trying to compare a Volvo station wagon that weighs 4,550lbs vs. a Paseo which might weigh like, 2k? And your 86lxi which is I'm sure no where near as heavy as my car. Also, I'm sure that neither one has as low of stock HP as mine does, 114. They stopped turbo'ing my model in 83. The 700-800 series cars had the B230FT with 160hp stock. If you tune the turbo right, get a new exhaust, and do some other mods to the engine your easily at 200hp.

Your trying to compare two cars that are horribly different. A family wagon vs. a sporty car(s). And as for the comparison with the Celica, yeah look at it, the car has been abused to hell, rusting in about 8-10 places, has two flat tires, and has the bolt missing from the main pulley of the engine. That's a project car. Not taking something that's brand new and using mom and dad's money to put brand new parts on it. They sell new turbo kits for the 22-RE, for $1300.... That's just the turbo. For the rest of the parts your looking between $2000-$2500 just to get the turbo on the car properly, then you have to get it running. Yeah I think using a turbo we already have is the better way to go.

If I was driving some civic or something and I tried to say that car was crap, then fine fire away, but not when I drive a two ton tank. I've also driven a paseo that was in perfect working order and it was a horrible car to begin with. I do speak with a bit of knowledge on the car.

Im a former Paseo owner, I have to say that it is a little fun car, sure its slow stock, but it could probably out manuver your volvo, or even your celica.
