No offense to supras,but that reminds me why I would rather race bikes than cars....

A liter bike built after 2003 needs about 7k to be a consistent 9 second bike.

A car needs hella money to do the same...... hella money.

I know I could drop 20k into my LS1 SS and still be in the 10's in search of reliability.

I found the fact it was an old gsxr1100 more impressive as well. That thing is piss ugly, and I thought no one had rode one since road rash came out for the sega genesis.... hahaha

No doubt thats a fast car, but that was a nearly 20 year old bike... 9.0 at 15x mph is a stock modern litre bike that is just stretched/strapped (plus the rider mod of course =).

Maybe 9.0 is optimistic on pure stock motor... but here is a 2004 zx10r that is strapped with STOCK WHEELBASE making 164 rwhp with the usual minor bolt ons (i.e. -2, piped, PC) running low 9.30's at 150 mph.

A 2009 K9 gsx-r 1000 makes 165 rwhp bone stock. With a stretch I dont think shaving 3 tenths is that unbelievable.

my friend runs consistant 9.50's on his 07 gsxr 1000. all he has is a slip on pipe and a power comander. but he is about 5,6 and weighs 150 maybe.
