so how do they figure that the car has 'up to' 408hp, does 250kph, and 0-100kph in 4.03 seconds if it's on a computer? I know there are math equations to figure that stuff out based on certain variable but just sound s a bit rediculous throwing out performance numbers of a computer generated car

they are probably going to use an engine that they are already familiar with and already have the performance specs on. and once they have the engine they do some math and figure in the weight, gearing, tire size, aerodynamic aspects, and other good stuff to figure out top speed and acceleration among other things.
