Dude that video kicks a$$. Thats why my fav imports are toyota's and pretty much a tie with mazda (rotary). I used to have a corolla GT-S when i bought it it had 180k on it and i beat the fuxk outta it for like a year and a half without doin anything but a clutch on it and it only blew up cuz i did it on purpose.
They tend to throw rods when u drain the oil and bounce off the rev limiter.

Yep, Toyota's are tough as. My mate over here had a Corolla hatch and he ran it for over 12mths with no coolant - it had a big hole in the radiator. It then blew the head gasket so he thought he better dodgy it up to sell it and put in some of that radiator seal stuff and it blew smoke and started missing for the first time ever!!

By the way, the new Toyota ute ads are better.. ; p

the toyota 22r engine is tougher than supermans balls. me and my buddies
did a hit and run on it.we had two dirt bikes straped to the back,we were
backing up but couldnt see anything in the back so we hit a brand new
crossfire. that **** was torn up and the toyota was just scratched.
bulletproof just bulletproof.

I think you're getting the motor and the body mixed up. They're two totally seperate things...

the 4 cylinder engine used in the late 70-s till mid-late 90's engine code was ... 22RE 2.2 liters... either injected or carbed... then in late 80's that had a 22 RE diesel lol
