Ok, the other day, my dad and i were watching horsepower tv on the spike channel, and they were making a 57' bell air hot rod. My dad saw that they had an aftermarket chassis that they began with, and then a fiberglass body that went on top. I was hopping that you guys could help me find a manufactuer of a preferibly a 68' fastback chassis and a fiberglass body. if you guys can give me any info on the manufactures who make this kind of stuff(doesnt necessarily just have to be mustangs, but something from detroit around that period) would be most appreciated. Because if he can find one, most likely we'll be able to start this project car we have both been dreaming about. Later,

57 Bell Aire's are pretty rare. Thats why they make fiberglass copies. 68 Mustangs are still pretty common. Just buy a real one.
I have never seen a FG Mustang biogy except those intended for drag racing on a tube frame. I have seen 67-69 Camaro body somewhere. But dont know who made it. |

More like Nis-Moron.. Over towards Eastdale, maybe a mile from Eastchase. A girl I went out with moved to Niceville about 2 years ago. She has since moved again, but I canr remember where. |

57 Bel-air....rare? Some car shows (like ones in parks) thats all you'll find in So.Cal, along with the other 2 tri-5's. Now a NON Bel-air seems to be a hard find, or atleast a converted one. They're nicknamed the "belly button car" for a reason Anyway on subject here. www.usbody.com for your fiberglass body needs. A chassis will prolly have to be a custom one, as the mustang was a unibody rather than the older frame and body like the 50's chevy's and old fords. I would say just get an original 68 mustang, unfortunately all the owners of Fastbacks think because the GT500's are worth so much theirs are too. Pony and Muscle car prices have gone thru the roof the passed few years, which sucks cause I'd love to have a few of 'em. BTW, non-fastback mustangs of that vintage are easily obtainable for under 10k in very clean condition.
