twin turbo=two turbos with the same size

biturbo=different sizes(one small for low rpm's and one bigger for high rpm's)

It has nothing to do with sequencial turbos, it´s just names.
Biturbo name is more used in italy, spain, france, etc..
Twin turbo is more common in england, u.s, japan and north of europe.

Both are just names of setups with two turbos.

"Twin Turbo" is English and can be used to describe sequential (turbos plumbed in series) and parallel (one turbo on each cylinder bank) setups.

"Biturbo" means the exact same thing, but is the German interpretation. It's typically used to describe European cars.

Let's get it right n00bs.

Cant, then what is the RX-7 (FD3S) considered? it was called a twin turbo, but it had two different sized turbos (one for under 3k, the other after 3k)

They are not attached together. All Audi biturbo systems have one turbo mounted on each bank of a V engine. Likewise for Mercedes. Each turbo functions equally at all times.

Yeah, Bi-Turbo just sounds classier to me do it rightfully belongs to the audi, while twin turbo just sounds like a high performance setup, used for high speeds, and raucous performance.
