Are RHD cars legal in america?

As far as I know. I saw a RHD supra on ebay that was located in flordia. Also you can find skylines on there as well. They need to be legalized though, and I'm not sure what's involved with that.

Maybe someone with experience in the matter could shed some light.

you need the whole antipolution system which they dont have, and costs a hell of alot money!!!

As long as they are ntsa and EPA certified legal. Right or left hand drive has nothing to do with it. Look at you mailmans car or truck. You can even order many domestic vehicle in RHD. Many of the rural mailmaen here have privatly owned RHD vehicles. Mostly Jeep Cherokees.

All of the certifications that are needed to inport a car have nothing to do with driver side. For example, you can take a 240sx and convert it to RHD with the parts on a SR20DET front clip. Have seen it done several times.
