Not really. You can do a basic overbore to clean the cylinders up for a rebuild but nothing to increase the displacement a significant amount. The KA engine was originally designed as a KA18E. It has been bored and stroked by nissan over the years till they maxed it out at 2.4 liters.
No reason to bore or stroke one. Just slap a T3/T04B on it and you'll have a screamer. Check these out: www.ka-t.org Click on the guys names across the top of the page. Hell, Jordan is running 12.955 @ 110.15 mph wit a single cam motor!!! |
