...... the best for the money?

Honda VTR1000 isnt a supersport so you dont have to pay the insurance on one will lift the front tire in 5th gear and is alot cheaper than the others. Face it for the street most of us will never be able to use the other bikes to their full potential. a VTR is plain and simply a good all round stre.....errr....i.... mean hooligan bike and looks good too.

The best bike out there is the GSXR-1000 but not to learn on......I would run a GSXR-6 or 750 to learn on............

You don't learn on a full sportbike. You learn on a 250cc or 500cc bike. Go ahead and start learning on a Hayabusa, you'll end up just being another statistic.

There is no such thing as a best sportbike for the money. They're all about the same price within each class (i.e. 600 or 1000), it's not as if one bike is bad and one is good. They look different, they have slightly different features, it all depends on which one you feel more comfortable on.

I have a 03 gixxer 750. It is the best all around bike in my opinion. Handles great in turns and hauls ass when you want too. The bike runs 10 sec. right off the show room floor. 0-60 in 1.9 sec. I had it up to 172 mph one time, not sure how fast it really goes. I suggest a gsxr!!!!

id say gsxr 600-750 as unless you have your own racetrack, your not going to need anymore

opening up a turbo hyabusa on the road is a death wish!

i learned on 2 bikes ( ok everyone go ahead a laugh )

A 1986 Honda Elite 250 scooter

laugh if you want but it would do 145kph and wheelie 'til 90kph

And a 1983 Yamaha Hertiage Special 650

my mother gave me the scooter and i bought the yami for $300
i think this was the best way to learn b4 hopping on a rocket.

just like a car ....buy a beater to learn on then buy the nice car/bike
