The most important question, Was it legalzied by MOTOREX? (if it wasnt its not worth crap, motorex is the only DOT authorized skyline legaliztion shop)
Does the car have a moded vin? (given to it by DOT)
Where is it located?
How much does it cost?
Will your insurance insure the car?
How much will insurance cost for that specific car?
Can you get a history on the car?
Is the car documented?
Does it have any mods?
Does it have a waranty?
Also look at the stock list at www.Motorex.net (i believe they have an R32 GT-S for 20k)

And BTW if you do decide to buy a car from Japan it self, 95% of the skylines are confisicated for being a stolen car or for being delieverd with the ECU still in connected in the car (its illegal to keep the ECU in the car while its being transported internationaly) And the biggest thing is that they check the container and its going to some one that is not authorized to sell or legalize skylines (everyone but motorex due to certain leagalities) also if there is anything being shipped inside the car, that is illegal too.

You cant, motorex wont let you have a car imported your self and have it sent to them. (you cant get beyond this because insurance wont take the car and you wont be able to register or get plates for the car) It will more then likely be confescated by the feds. So your better off getting the 20k R32 GT-ST at www.motorex.net . IT is legal to drive here in the us so youll be all set. I know, it sux but its the the laws, or im sure we would all have skylines in our garages/drive ways.

If it doesnt get confiscated, sure but it probably will. Also you wont be able to insure it/ get plates for it. so there is no point.

Very True well a other good thing is that I got 23k to spend on a Skyline. I was going to buy this Nissan Skyline for 8k and get it registered for 15K (ITS WAS A GUESS). I guess illjust save up to 30K and buy one them them. Are tho Skylines all Legal in the US already? also must you need a special Lisence to drive this car?

lol dont buy another one, the R32 is lighter, costs less (porrly less to insure also) and has the same displacement as the R33 and R34 GT-ST's. they are 2.5 inline six's, just that the R34 (which they no longer import) has a twin turbo engine (Code RB26DETT(twinturbo)) (R32 and R33's have the engine code RD25DET) Also, all generation GT-R's have all wheel drive, but with AWD, you cant really drift, as you said you wanted to do. So in my opinion you should go with the R32 for your preferences. But as i said my oppinion, but it truely is up to you. What ever you do though, make sure your going to be happy with the car!
