EVOS have great handling and power, and the STi has great power but has a huge case of over steer ( stated by SCC magazine a "psycho steer") And the SRT is great but it FF so its nothing special I would persoanlly go for the STI or the EVO, but for more research check these sites out...
http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/ro.../012scc_dodge/ http://sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0407scc_evovssti2/ Also i have two magazine article (one from scc and one from road and track) articles batteling these two cars oput and the evo wins in both, if you really want me to, i can scan in these articles, but PM for it cause i dont want to clog up the forums with huge articles |

I dont care how big of a turbo you put on it, it's still a Neon!
They are one of the fastes depreciating cars on the market. In two years you will still owe way more than it is worth. I say go EVO. I'm not a mitsu fan, but I cant find fault with the EVO. FAST, pretty good handling, GREAT seats!!! Aggressive styling. Of all of the completely stock cars I have raced. The EVO was the closest race.

It all depends on what you are planning on doing with the car. Truthfully if you are looking for a fast drag car that also handles decently go with an sti. but remember they are notorious for understeer.
The Evo is an excellent choice either way they are fast in a straight line but not quite as fast as the sti unless you get the mr or something. The evo though can handle much better then the sti though and understeer is not quite as much of an issue with this car. The Srt-4 is well... a interesting choice but is in no way a equal to the sti or evo because it is much less expensive, its FWD, and its just an overall lower quality of car. With all the new Mopar stuff coming out the car has some balls i will admit but you are also looking at a possible junker a couple years down the road. Dodge is notorious for making cars that break down a few years after they are bought. i would recommend staying away. Another option that you may wanna look into is the Nissan 350z/Infiniti G35 Coupe. They are just about the same price as the EVO and STI but they are RWD. The 350z has many option packages you can look into that with either make it cheaper or more expensive then those other cars. THe build quality is about the same as the other cars as well. Note: All this is my opinion dont take my word go out and test drive them who knows maybe you like how the srt 4 handles or what not... i didnt but thats me i love rwd cars

i would have to say STi considering its one of my fav. import cars (gasp), but evos are really cool also. evos have the image, STis have the power and the sound. dont know a whole lot about them (still learning) but i think they have around 300, and evos have around 270. dont know for sure, correct me if im wrong. if you go with the STi, get the blue with the gold wheels, if the evo, then get the "blue by you" color. both are really cool colors

neon- if you only like to go fast in a straight line and ignore the corners its ok
evo- if you like to go fast in a straight line, have awd for the snow, and own most cars on the road with your handling abilities sti- if you like that throaty growl the flat four bellows out, like to go fast, handling is similar to evo but not on par. So basically I would go with either the STI or EVO, as there pretty similar cars, with similar characterisics, just a matter of choice really. |

oversteer is better than understeer, i would rather have oversteer than regular, just because you can be faster if you are a good driver, because its fun in snow, its easy to fix, easier than understeer
