The looks is up to you to decide. And the drift depeds on you. Either are very capable at drifting. There are MANY more tuning parts available for the 240. And the 240 will be cheaper. So WHEN you wreck it drifting, it will be cheaper to fix/replace. Why not get an AE86, like in your name?

well, the fcs3 is a harder car to maintain since its an old wankel engine, but if you get the turbomodell you will have a lot more power than the 240.

Go for the fc3s. The parts are easy to find in the states compared to sr20 parts. And the rotaries are much eaier to work on. About 40% less moving parts on the rotary.

Since you already got the 240, I say stick with it. With drifting getting bigger and bigger, the more that will get wrecked, and more junkyard parts. Plus they have a larger aftermarket in the US/japan (or so it appears to me) than the 1st/2nd gen rx-7's. Prolly about the same if it's a 3rd gen. And the 240sx chassis is a damn good chassis. I believe it's only weakness really is the tie rods, and maybe a lack of power and LSD.

I don't see how SR20 parts are that hard to find in the US (if you want to do a swap) as the engines were available here anyway. I know many of the CA18 conversions can use parts from the 200sx's that came with them in the US.

a bit off topic: How come u use the name "A E 8 6" but are a 240 driver?

Actually the rx7 is more balanced. And the rotary is extremely easy to control.

LOL, then again in America we only have a ka24de non-turbo. (its gay.) But the FC is much more blanced, some of the best turning cars. Rotarys are much better then a 240
