Ok guys I DONT want to start a dispute between domestic and import, but im stuck between a rock and a hard plzce with a car decision right now. I want to chose one of these two cars, none others though due to insurance and economic reasons. I have narrowed down a new car chose between a Talon TSi or a Camaro Z28. They both have sticks and the Talon is all wheel drive and has 190 HP, the Camaro is obviously rear wheel drive and has 310 HP. I will need to drive this car year round though and i live in Connecticut so i do have to travel in the snow. So the decision is now up in the air, So which should i chose Camaro or Talon? (REMEMBER NO DISPUTES BETWEEN IMPORT AND DOMESTIC JUST HONEST OPINION, IF THIS THREAD DOES START INTO A DISPUTE, MODS PLZ CLOSE, BUT ONLY IF IT DOES) Thx for you help guys.

Thats the first time I heard a girl say a Camaro is sexy. Yeah I was leaning more towards that and putting in a Doug Rippie stroker kit (500hp and 500lb. ft, a vette with that can run quarter in the low 11 secs.) But Im still undecied thats why I called upon the voice of the people of tremek, lol.

id take the camaro
the talon would probably get better miles per gallon but awd isnt all that great for daily driving

both respectable cars but id take the camaro

you will appreciate it when the snow flys and the talon is better on fuel too

Thats why im having such a hard time because of those reasons.

Let me start this with: I am a Domestic HATER!!!

But if you plan to race or mod it. Steer away from the Talon as a daily driver. The AWD is great, especially for Daily driving. BUT they are notorious for trashin trannies and crank the shaft walking in the block if modded much. Before the DSM guys get me, let me say they can be made REALLY fast!!

I just wouldn't use a modded one for a daily driver. It sickens me to say Camaro

Did that just leave my typing fingers??? If your going stock or mild mods, the definately Talon!!!

well i have had a 500hp 99 SS, I'll tell you first hand, the doug rippie package is way over priced.

Talon is a blast to drive. But the often brakedown. as for the fuel they are both the same if you drive really hard.

I would assume the camaro would make for a more powerful and reliable driver. While u can get 500hp out of a dsm it's stressing it. I do believe that's not a whole lot of stress on a Small block Chevy. I also have a certain liking for the Camaro. I vote camaro.

i got a 350 for the camaro if u want it, i just put a 454 big block in mine

No thanks, I just sold my other corvette for a new project, this one for me to put together my self, a 427 in it and i have an old 350 vette block in my garrage from a 69 vette. I got the project car and a bit of money for my other vette from the guy, but i think i have some remorse now.
