Lol i bet you just saw drift bible and heard that nice woosh sound. It probably has a costum BOV made just for that car and tuned directly for its horsepower needs. Or it could be a PIT oerformance 9900 BOV, click the link and look for the sound clip to hear it. http://www.performance-trends.com/ga...ils_valves.htm

I run a hell of a lot more boost and power than you and a Bosch 710N diverter valve works just fine. Your car is equipped with a 710P valve which is just as good. If you just want your car to sound like a riced out Honda, just get one of those BOV speakers so at least you don't lose performance just for that sound. How do I make a sound clip of it? I have a digital video camera that saves files as mpgs. How to convert and where to host? I'll get a sample tomorrow.
Oh, and lose performance I didn't lose any performance and none of our other cars did either??? |

If you add a external dump BOV. The air has been measured buy the MAF (sent to computer) then the air goes through the turbo, is compressed and added with the fuel (fuel amount calculated buy computer) to burn. If you vent this compressed (already measured) air to atmosphere (through BOV or undesired leak for that matter), the computer sends too much fuel and the car may stumble or idle badly for a few secs after coming to a stop. Due to the car being flooded for a sec. Too much fuel and not enough air. Not enough to damage rings or anything like that. Just may make the engine stumble. There air electronic aids to correct this problem. Like the HKS EIDS (Electronic Idle Stabilizer) and the feature is built into many fuel controllers like Apexi's SaFC and Greddy's Emanage. They are simple and effective.
