Default decat for audi a3 quattro

Anyone know where abouts the cat is on the audi a3 quattro (2000)? Is it part of the manifold or after the manifold?

It's after the manifold in the downpipe. There is no way you could put the cat on the manifold of a turbo car.

My bad, i didnt mean the manifold i meant the turbo elbow/downpipe. I'm just looking for a friend of mine as he wants to take the cat out but wasnt sure were it was. Do any exhaust companies do direct replacement downpipes for the a3? Would it have to be chipped to compensate for there not being a cat?
