Question Open Or Closed 2 Way LSD????

I'm a lil bit confused on these two. I was wondering if any of you have either one or maybe had the experience of both?

Do you mean open and locked diff?
1 way 1.5 and 2 way difs? They are all totally different things. What is your question?

The first one is for a 240sx that came with an open (no LSD) diff...
The second is for a 240sx that came with a factory (viscous) LSD... Very rare in US/ standard on Canadian models

The lsd rear ends have a larger diameter spline on the axle shafts. Many aftermarket LSD'd also have the larger pattern and when you put them in a 240 that originally was an open diff, the axles dont fit and you have to buy them. Problem is no one makes them aftermarket and Nissan of North America is out of them, possibly permanently. (I have inside source at Nissan Parts)

I need a pair of LSD alxe shafts myself, for my R34 Skyline GT-T Helical LSD. It fits fine into the 240 rear housing, but I need the 6 bolt LSD (triple pair style) flanges or a set of 5 bolt LSD flanges and axles to go with them. Any S13 LSD axles or even Infiniti J30 axle flanges will work.

If you buy the first one , you will NOT need to buy axles. It is made for use with NON-LSD axles... That is the point.

If you add a factory Nissan VLSD or many other aftermarked LSD's, you will need the Nissan LSD axles. The particular unit you have chosen, as well as one of the Tomei LSD's were designed with US 240sx use in mind. No additional parts to buy
