guys, i need help on choosing the right stuff for my car the '02 passat 2.8 v6 193 hp(not 4motion)
and my bro's '01 2.3 v5 golf gti 150 hp

it might be the first time for some of u to know these engines exists, well cars in the middle east have different specs and engines due to weather, and all...


well im not aiming for insane tuning, but something for starters,

my car is capable to outrun 2000-2003 maximas with their 3.0 v6 233 hp (again these engines are for M.East), but not in 1st, or 2nd gear, but in the mid of the 3rd gear....

so my beginings are so slow, i can see the rpm revs to 3000-3500 rounds but speedometer is still asleep.

i couldnt find 'easlily' stuf for my car, cuz its rare, i mean other places where u find 2.8 v6 passats or other vw's , they are 4 motion, but not here....


and if u can see suitable stuff for the golf....

Good to hear that your a VW fan!!!.

Yeah we also have a huge range of dubs here.

Well if you looking in getting a good start off the line.

Maybe get a 276 cam gas flow that head.

This cam kicks in at about 3000 RPM getting your car going quick.

Or maybe going the usual way 50HP shot of gas baby!

Rev high in 1st as soon as you hit 2nd hit the gas.

Gas is best used at low revs go get the car going.

Try that!

but im already considering the cams, & im finding a good german garage for heads polishing

or perhaps a chip, that will flirt my passat's computer

Well yeah a little shot of gas is a little "HECTIC" for now.

Go the cams way get your head polished and chips here. Then get that Branch and exhaust sorted.

Seeing that your car has a lot of CC behind here thos little mods will get her going quicker.

Yeah there are a lot of VW here in SA that have been modified.

I have 2. My drive around golf 1.6i And my 2.1 20v turbo MK1 GT.

Pretty quick. boosting around 0.8 and i get about 240 KW on the wheels

what is the most adviseable chip for my car @ its current stage????

any 2.8 v6 30 v engine chips u reccomend>>??

i searched many websites for this matter including c3cars.com, & other vw tuning enthu. sites.. but came out with nothing >>>

P.S i made a v6 camaro (3.8 v6) a joke last night, it was a little cracky, i mean 98 or 99 model, but still its a 3.8 v6, and has better dynamics for speeds than a passat !!

but it was taken by an old sony ericcsson T630, so it aint clear much

but if u zooom in, u'll see what i mean...

btw, it reached 250 once (after a long time, but it did ! )

but, the golf v6 is 4motion, my passat is front wd


and my hp is 193


i think the golf is a bit over 200 hp
