i have a 93 del and just recently it has started smoking at high rev at 4800 white smoke it burning about a quart a week any comment how to fix or whas wrong would help thx p.s i also run royal purple is that a prob

sound like you got something wrong with the valves or piston ring seal. I can't think of anything thing else that would cause oil to leak in to your piston. Hey by chance do you feel you lost power.

yeah i do feel like i lost a littel power but i did a compression check and it ran good so i dont think its piston rings

if it was a darker smoke maybe then i would worry about compression but i would look at the heads for the source of a problem. the fact that you are burning oil is probly cuz you car is now not running at peak efficency.... its hard to determine with out hearing the car run or seeing the smoke. i would recommend taking it to a local shop and have it looked at before you have a dead motor.
