Yeah I mean if we want to get technical I have 3 cars. Or 4 even if we count the volvo I'm ripping parts from. W00t!

Update on project:
We took the plastic body-kit-thing from underneath the front bumper of the 760 and put it on my car. Amazingly it fit right in and my dad was satisfied with the amount of openings and the way they are going to direct air. The intercooler is mounted(upside down I might add), and the oil cooler is set where its gonne be set. When I left the shop this evening my dad was starting to place the transmission cooler and might have even gotten it mounted and connected. Tomorrow we get to drill a fat hole in the side of the block for oil.... Yippie!

i think i drive the best car... i got a beemer... 1976 2002 to be exact... 2 litre carburated 30 year old 4 banger... its pretty simplistic, but its still got its pep. i think its the ultimate package...i can go rallying, hit up the track, or take a nice long road trip with bikes n the like... i think its got around 85 horses n the fastest ive taken it is bout 110... n it was stable for a shoebox with wheels even that fast(it looks like the pic on the left)

Yeah I don't think I'll be doing much racing with it I might take it to a local 1/8 mile track if I feel like it(just for fun).

I've gone to 100mph before, it was a couple years ago. I ran out of road more less, and I didn't know the car as well as I do now. Course now that its getting the turblow I'm gonna have to learn how to drive it again :P

*BUMP*

Got some new pictures. We are making quite a bit of progress, I don't know when it will be done, a few more days hopefully. The major things we have left is/are the exhaust system, hooking up the intercooler and tranny cooler, putting the turbo on, and some other misc. things. My boost and oil temp guages should be here today(yay).

*new pics are labeled as 1-5-2005, plus I've commented on all of them*

Cool man. Thanks for the updates. Who cares about what other people think. This is mainly a project for you and your dad, plus its going to make your car fun to drive. Think of the sounds that thing is going to make when you shift.

Remember these times as pops isn't going to be around forever..

Truth. And I am enjoying it very much. I'm learning some stuff and spending time with my dad, which is cool.

We got an oil line customized this evening ($37!!!), and we will again be spending the evening here working on stuff. I should have some more pictures, mainly of the hole my dad drilled in the side of the engine

*i posted this on another forum and didn't feel like typing it over again so i just pasted it, so if some of it doesnt make sense, too bad! more pics tomorrow*

Well don't mean to post right after myself, but my dad and I had an interesting evening. We went to a place and got the line that sends oil from the turbo customized.... $37. Then we went to home depot(no joke), and bought a brass pieces(t-fittings, etc.) and my dad made some sort of mess with it so that i can have my oil pressure guage as well as my idiot light runnning off ot it(pics tomorrow). Also, this is fun, for the IC we are using electrical conduit piping(im not sure if its just fancy PVC, who knows im an idiot). So my dad is going to be bending that stuff somehow since its just straight pipe right now. I think its stupid but thats why I went ahead and got two 15ft sections of the two sizes we needed, that way when he most likely screws up, we can just cut more off and try again! YAY!

So, yeah thats all ok news and I'm sure your bored, so how about some excitment? We put on the custom t-fitting brass mess and got it put on the block and next we slappped the freakin turbo on, WOOHOO! Right.... So we put the washers and nuts on the manifold and my dad snugs them with an air tool and tells me to torque them down or wahtever. So he does the back two so I know how they feel when they are on there good, so I go all the way up to the last two, do the bottom one, then start on the top, I'm tightening it up and it goes, *tight* *tight* *loose*.... I IMMEDIATELY know that there is a problem. If you've had this happen before then you know what I'm about to say: I snapped the f*cking stud in half. I'll skip the part about my dad getting so mad he doesnt say anything and me just standing there staring blankly, and skip to the happy ending, to where my dad amazing enough managed to get the rest of the stud out of the side of the engine. It was a very quiet and tense period of time, but I'm happy to report we replaced that stud and checked the others and the turbo is now back on the car. After further investigation my dad said that based on the color of the metal on the inside of the stud he said it had been over-tightened before, so it was really only half-way my fault.

SO! All that blah blah blah I hope your sick of me talking, cuz I'm sick of typing. I'll have more pictures tomorrow of all my crap(brass and conduit, the broken stud, etc.). All we have left is to finish customizing the oil line(more on that later), run the piping for the IC, and then rag-tag up my half volvo half flowmaster exhaust I'm going to happily crawl into my bed and dream of studs that don't break.

Woohoo! Thanks for the update. I have learned that everything that seems 'easy' tends to be the most difficult. Like the time I replaced the windshield wiper motor on my old S10 that I wrapped around a pole. That was the biggest pain the ass, ARGH!
