Does anybody know how a bagged suspension reacts and/or effects a high output engine? I am building a 67 chevy p/u. I am having a custom frame built for it in about six months, but before I do this I want to make sure it isn't going to cause problems. Will this type of suspension be able to handle an all aluminum 427 with 530hp 570tq. My other concern is am I going to loose the ability to get this power to the ground effectively?
Any input/suggestions are appreciated, thanks. Last edited by justbcuz; 20 Oct 2004 at 02:04 pm. |

I don't know the specs on this car but a friend of mine is in a car club with a guy that has a +02 Cobra that has a full air-bag suspension and will run 9's in the quarter. He has had no problems with it from what my friend says. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply! Ohh yeah, and... Damn 9 second car on baggs! I hope I can hit low 11's high 10's. What is his bhp(at least I would think it has some kind of forced induction) at the wheels? Last edited by justbcuz; 08 Dec 2004 at 04:38 pm. |
