its possible. actually, very possible if you have money and experience. if you get the power down right, you wont need wheelie bars. if those vehicles did have wheelie bars, theyd be a lil more faster.

well lets see a sting ray running 4's, and a box oh i'm sorry truck running 5's, first look at the fact funny cars and top fuel dragsters recently (past few years) broke the 3 sec mark. and look at the pro stock div who is running high 5's and low 6's on a good day. i think your roomate needs to stop hittin the pipe. so just look at the facts such as areodynamics and such, i would love to see a truck run the 1320 in 5 sec. i don't see how that could even possibly happen maybe the 1/8th

Thumbs down I dont think so!

Top fuel funny cars run just under 5 sec's(with bars too). And top fuel dragsters run 4's With frames How Long?!? and Wheelie bars. In my opinion No Friggin way.. Unless it's a vett fiberglass body on a top fuel dragster chassie.

Ok im a die hard drag racing enthusiast and Nobody has yet to break 3 seconds! Best pass I believe is a 4.32@328mph and that's in a Top Fuel Dragster(Fastest cars on the strip..8,000+Hp) So to answer, No there's no way in hell a Truck runs 5's and a Vette is running 4's in the 1/4 mile. Also they wont meet the safety rules for it! So There ya go, No car in the 3's and those 2 vehicles are not in the times he says!

my guess is your mistaking 1/4 for 1/8th mile then 5s would be possible.

No Jeep is running 3s in the 1/4 or 1/8. The Corvette is in no way running 4 second 1/4s. Maybe the 1/8 but even that would be insanely fast for anything that isn't stripped out and dedicated to drag racing. And a truck running 5s? Tell him to lay of the smack, or just smack him upside his head.

tell your friend he is a dumb@** for me. if they were that fast, they would classify up there with top fuel dragsters with over 4000hp and run in the 4.6s
He may be talking about the 1/8 mile perhaps
