known problems for 03' cobras?
other than it being a Ford? what is considered "high mileage" for them? Like when do they fall to shit generally? Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated ![]() Thanks

I believe the 03's had a head tick or something but as far as I understand that was something fixed by a recall, so most have probably had that issue resolved. Here is a nice big FAQ on the 03-04s. BTW good on you for looking at some muscle, no homo lol

The only problems that I know of are the 2003's that were made from Jan 03 - Mar. 03 had a driver side head gasket issue. Mainly the issue occurred when people started adding more boost, if it is stock, I doubt the issue has come up w/ the car. Other than that, some parts of the IRS are kinda weak, like the half shafts, but that is an easy fix for relatively cheap. You can't beat the forged internals it comes with and the ease of modifications. I would pick on up in a second if I had the spare cash.

the only problem is 90% of them have ben beat to shit already, and modded. almst the same engine ass the mark 8 ben around for over 10 years must be good i see those with 2xxx all the time but then again they arnt supercharrged and in a mustang
