Here's my evil plan, find cheap, easy, mayeb even free or not so easy mods to do to a 4.0L OHV I-6. Its in my Jeep Cherokee and I want to be faster. I can't afford any big stuff yet or else I'd be lifted with a stroker under my hood (4.6L). As is I outrun a good many stock 4bangers and quite a few with CAI and fart cans. I enjoy this past time, but would like to beat them by even more. The look on their faces is priceless when a 4 dr 4wd SUV walks away from them at the light after they've made a big show of revving their engine and attempting to spin their (front) tires. I know many may hate me for this plan. Namely such people as those in the True Power thread...

great fuking idea, i remeber the look on a civics face when i monkey spanked him from two lights with my old yj.....

this beast will be prowling the streets looking for victoms of the import kind.

she looks small in the pic but she siting higher then the fence with flat tires.

about 6 inchs of lift on 33's for now, just got the motor back in and need 35's asap.

i had to air down to get the motor in.

and the open spot in front is for a big winch. if ever needed

the truck goes everywhere,on/off/around road. and she is a beauty
and the lawn mower is under the other stang.

She is ugly, but that's the beauty. I love the old 76 Fords cuz they're so ugly. Then you lift it and put some nasty Swampers under it and now its big and ugly, which is something to fear. If its already ugly why worry about denting it in traffic if someone cuts you off in their Civic (not to pick on Civics, but they're usually the stupid ones who think because the quick they can do whatever without consequences...).

PS I know its not an old Ford its a Ramcharger, but I like the Ford trucks too....I've got a friend that wet himself if he saw your truck. He's owned 2 of them, and loves Ramchargers

I almost bought a 76 with enough lift to clear 36" Swamper Boggers. Burgundy outside, beautiful paint job, reupholstered inside, and it was only $4500. Oh yeah, it had a brand new 351W crate engine in it, I think he'd put like 5000 miles on it. I wish I coulda gotten that one. Imagine the looks when a big old Ford truck on 36s outruns the overconfident ones in their rice machines...
