Default RX8?

k well i've been thinking about getting a good car since the storm is gonna blow or break down becuase i've been rat baggin it.
i have been looking at cars and i would like a evo but they seem to be a lot of money i looked at others there still out of my price range. i looked at used rx8's bone stock and they pretty resonable. has anyone heard of any problems with them? other then the fact there harder to get parts to fix since there rotary?.
i really want one they look sexy and small with good hp and good gas milage 1.3L 230 sum horse power 150 torque
i'm looking at something practical and nice.
i'll get it by spring time or summer of next year. just got a job and if i get full time there i'll be making some good dough.

RX-8 won't be a street racer, I don't think it has much potential for high hp, but from what I've read it's the most fun car to drive in its price class and is equal to a 350z around a track. That being said, I'd take a 350z over it, but you don't have a back seat in the z so it's not a great dd.

RX8's don't really have many problems from what I have heard, my friend has a yellow one. It is kinda on the slow side, but fun as a mofo in the corners.

I got a buddy who owns one.
Ive driven it before, there real nice cars and they can look real good with some nice rims on it.
Yea it is a lot more harder to get something fixed on it cause of the rotary engine but my friend has yet to have any real major problem with it, hopefully that helped you out man

EPA mpg rating is like city 16/24 hwy. I did some googling and I guess on one RX8 forum the subject of poor mpg comes often. Heres one member's suggestion

usually it's about how the person drives but 24mpg highway is pretty terrible for a 1.3L motor. cool cars though

Yeah, the gas mileage on the rx8 really isn't that good. Like soup said earlier I would take a 350z over an rx8.

I'm pretty sure that if you price out a base 350z and a base rx8 for equal years the z is only slightly more. I checked real quick on kelleys blue book and the z was 2k more. Which in my opinion is worth it.
