Nissan Altima 3.5

Nisan sentra SE-R

Honda S2000

All these are decent pocket rockets that should fall into price range of less than or equal to that of an RX-8 and I know that they will get better gas mileage.

Just my opinion but I would remove the redline from the list. The others are nice alternatives.

yes they look good and yes they handle well, but where did you hear that they got good gas mileage??? Autoweek's long term rx8 tester is getting 13 mpg combined city/highway. In addition to being thirsty with gas, it consumed 8 quarts of oil in 18k miles.

just because it only has 1.3 litres of displacement, doesnt mean it automatically gets good fuel economy. rotary engines are a whole different ballgame compared to piston engines.

and the list of cars isn't the best, i've driven a mazda speed 3 there nice but not what i want. neon are ugly saturns look like shit, all the others look like somthing i would puke on except the s2000, and the colbaltss

You'll be able to find parts for those hella cheaper and it would probably get better gas mileage than the RX8 even if it were modded.
