I currently have a 1995 5.0 GT-S Auto. As of right now it is fairly stock, I have a off road H piper and catback flowmasters and my timing is at 13 degrees. I love my car , its my first real muscle car. I would like to keep it and work on it. It is an auto and that kinda sucks but people tell me if I do the right things to my tranny and I will be find. I am currently going away to school and I will brining it with me. I am pretty handy with cars and can figure things out. But would like some advise where I should go with it. Like I said before, Auto 5.0 160k on the motor, offroad H piper and catback flowmaster. What do you think I should do where I should go, Ive been told stall torque converter, shift kit and 3.73s..

what do you want out of it now? for power you could go cold air intake and bigger throttle body, personally i wouldnt spend much on a 5.0 in that heavy of car, time to get somthin a little bigger

1st thing I would do personally is get rid of that AOD tranny...puke. Get a T5 tranny in that sucker. Then I would add 3.73 gears or steaper. Mid or shortie headers, CAI, Throttle body, UD pulley, short throw shifter...that should wake that biotch up nicely.

you could probally find a fairly decent T5 tranny for a little over $400
so im guessing around $700ish total for the whole swap, these mustang guys on here should be able to tell you what all you need and roughly how much.
