Just got offered a 1988 gt 5 speed.... 65k.... trade for mine... needs alittle body work.. what do you think.. better starting point?

the 1988 is the one w/ the "4 eyes" for the front headlights right? To me and many others, those are FUGLY, they look like a damn dodge daytona.
Plus, if the guy wants to trade up straight up, there is some sort of problem or shadyness going on w/ that deal, think about it.

well then, sorry, but it still sounds like a scam IMO. We just used to have a guy that had an 88 w/ the 4 eyed front end on it, maybe he crashed it and changed it out.....dunno? either way, a straight up trade is shady IMO.
