Default Single turbo setup question

How does the pipping work on a single turbo setup on a V motor? I'm jsut wondering because I found a turbo, exhaust manifold, and I believe it comes with a hat too & I was curious about what other pipping there is.

Basically all the piping from each side run's into a single collector. The collector is commonly placed in an area where its best to accommodate a turbo-charger.

From what I know of the GN's and TTA's the exhaust manifold from the left bank runs down under the sump and back up the right side where it joins the right bank and into the turbo which is mounted at the front right of the engine bay.

This is a far from ideal setup but it does work!

Rather than run a crossove pipe from one bavk to the other, alot of people over here (Aust) place the turbo in front of the motor, pretty much in the middle and run each bank to the turbo - using a split pulse turbo means they run each bank to each 'side' of the split pulse housing.
The biggest hassle with this is making the choice to either use 2 ext wastegates, or one only sitting on one bank or one that has a feed from the two banks.

The main reason for doing it that way is to take advantage of the pulsing coming from eash bank but of course you need to be more particular with making both sides the same length/int area to get the pulsing even (if possible).
