well that all depends weather it is the older ones w/ the steal bumpers and solid glass headlights. Also depends if it is a 5.0L GT or a 5.0L LX, notchback LX or the vert.
I have seen them all the way from 32xx----34xx lbs.

rofl. glass headlights and different bumpers for 87-93. your off your rocker.

the headlights are plastic and used the same bumpers.

91-93 had bigger front fenders to accomadate the 16inch pony wheels. thats only the minor difference in 87-93 and color matched moldings.

LX Notch back "coupes" weigh in at 29xx and the GT vert weighs in at 33xx.
Notch is lightest in 5spd trim and auto trim GT vert is the heaviest.

go check yourself. the 5.0L stangs w/ the daytona type front end had glass headlights, some on the same model stangs had actual steel bnumpers coated. Yougo do your reasearch. We have a local GM/ford shootout coming up and I was just into this conversation w/ a die hard local stang guy, he has a 11 sec. 5.0L foxbody and I was asking his curb weight, "well since I removed the steel bumper, and the seats I don't know what I weigh" This was from a guy who eats/sleeps/and shits Ford racing.

holy christ pull your head out of your ass. check here. if you think those bumpers are steel you definitely could use a little help. they'd be 300lbs+ on each end of the car. your mustang guru was probably talking about the bumper beams behind the cover. i know the back beam on my car is ~110lbs.

as for the headlights, your link is useless. it doesn't say what the hell they are made of.

who the F U C K are you?? I know damn well what I am talking about, we have many many many ford, 5.0L guys in our local group and as I stated above, I was speaking w/ a guy that build 5.0's from end to end, so you PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS, or your boy friends ass. They did come will metal bumpers and they are not solid, dumbass, they are form shaped and are hollowed out sort of. I know damn well what I am talking about. And if your blind ass would enlarge the pic, you can see they are glass, guess YOU need some GLASSES. guess you have never heard of something plastic called a bumper cover, huh.....yup they go over the top of the OLDER mustang bumpers....which are a metal beam underneath.


And bmxer, you need to actually get some hands on doing work on several cars before telling anyone what to stick to talking about. I have re-built more motors that you have even seen son.
