Besides the price? well, to and three piece wheels are built more durable then weld, mag, aluminum alloy, or steel wheels. If you are a person who just does straight line and crappy street racing, just stick to the chepest shit there is. If your a serious track guy, you want three piece or 2 piece wheels because they are more balanced and will resist twisting and turning more, therefore sparing your tires some pain. Basically, only get 3 piece is your drive really hard. Also, 3 piece rims are generally for low-offset applications and for staggered tire sizes. Say going above 265, youll usually use 2 or 3 piece. If you look at anything with 335s, they will be between 11-13 inches and the offset will be between 0-20 on nonstock sizes, thats what you use multipiece wheelss for also
