Question F/I emissions question

When you go to e-check with a turbo car do you turn down the boost when they do the test?

hmm i dont think the turbo would even spool that up high on a E-check.not to reachfull boost.but if it has a electric boost controler i dont see why u cant turn it down.im sure lots of other cars do put it on low boost if there worried about it

i dont think you even have to turn it down i think just as long as your check engine light hasnt come on your good at least here in illinois what state are you from mem?

hmm yes i gues it depends on where u are. here we probly do it differnt. here they test it a differnt revs.

washington. I thinks its similar here Burgh I dont think we are really strict in WA, what got me thinking was all these supras in California that are modded how do they pass emissions

big power supra's wont even be boosting. i think the Etest dont go over 3k rpm.so doubt the turbo will be spooling much.

like me, my parents own a smog shop so i can pass no matter what...probaly the same with the supras, they probaly know ppl or put hollow cats on it hopping it would still pass and put boost pretty low i would think

no cats=no pass
turbo on N/A car=no pass
no stock intake = no pass

California is too damn strict on emissions =-(

looks alot like a dyno, but only reads the emissions i believe
