w/ only 37k miles i doubt it's the fuel filter. She may have a fouled plug causing a random misfire, she may be getting injecter pulse....clean the injectors, a ground wire may be bad or burnt up or just loose. Try those.

Neons do not have fuel filters-first they only have socks in the tank, second they are commonly known to foul the champion plug that come from the factory, third if they plugs were not changed at 30k (which is specified by diamler chrysler) then try that first. Also is the ses lamp on?(chek engine light) they are also known to have bad cam sensors that can cause a miss like that one! If you need more help send me a message as i am a chrysler certified tech.
