If you just want a reliable daily driver, the mazda is a pretty good bet. My sister had a 93, which was my hand me down, that has well over 200k on the clock. It still has the original clutch despite beating the living crap out of it (even took it to a couple of track days lol). Engine is still fine etc. But the car has since been retired as a result of rust issues on the shock tower. I would assume that the 2003's have improved leaps and bounds over that POS she had.

You should be able to find one for less than 12k. Among the other choices suggested by others, I would go with the maxima.

no there made in koria, i would never buy a saturn or kia. there made jus for good gass milage, there no quality in them and they slow as a brick. might as wheel put a motor in a shoping carage

Well my plans for a mazda i dunno.. i want somthin with guts it i could slap a turbo on teh mazda i would throw on a k&n maybe some better plugs and put on a exhaust... that would like be it.. maybe some rims i was told shinny stuff makes car go zoom zoom....

If you want the mazda find a mazdaspeed protege.That way it's already turbo charged.
