Im getting a 1981 Datsun 720 Diesel . Someone brought it into the shop and didn't want to fix it. so dad and i are going to fix the tranny and its goinn to be my new daily driver. They're very reliable little trucks
But i was curious, I looked it up all over the place but couldn't find it. What's the displacement of the diesel option? it lists the gas engines as a 2.0, 2.2, or a 2.4L but i couldn't find the size of teh diesel. Anyone know? |

It'll be the SD22. 2.2 liter. Two cylinders short of the SD33 that I have in my Patrol. And yes, if maintained they will last a very long time.
