Default Diff between Z06 and non-Z06

I don't know if any of you know the differance between the C5/C6 non-Z06 and Z06. Here are a couple of pics showing a C5 non-Z06 and a C5 Z06. The C6 body shap is the same way.

this is a non-Z06 C5

This is a C5 z06

The item to look for is the back glass. The reasone I put these to pics up here is all the Z06 vids that don't have Z06's in them.

Aren't the rear brake ducts exclusive to the Z06's as well?

What I was getting at was the quick "as it goes buy" look differance. The back glass on both Z06's have that steep angle vs the sweping one on the non-Z06. Yes there are other ones, but this one stands out the most.

1999 and 2000 had the hardtops that weren't z06's. Really you would look for the z rims, brake ducts and hardtop. But anyone can stick on some fake brake ducts, and some z06 rims on a 99 hardtop.

the black one can be argued its not a z, due to the oversized z rims and non z06 badge, but it looks legit, because it has the z06 stitching on the seats. really its a tossup, rather it is or not.

but yes... ducts, rims, badge, and hardtop, give it away

Another visual clue is that the Z06 will also have red powder coated calipers. The red is just for bling factor. They are identical mechanically to the regular C5 calipers (built for GM by PBR of australia)
