if your lsd is busted it will most likely act like you have a regular differential, sure u can still drift and shit, but you wont have traction on both wheels when your sideways so you'll have to go faster.

i dont know if you can get the replacement gear, if money is an issue than go to the scrap yard and find some 4x4's jeeps and so on, and grab the entire differential as they have lockers on them.

Depends if it is the same model diff.

I would suggest going to someone that specialises in them cars and speak to them.

well depends what diff, check your size and so on, your better off going to 4x4 shop with a Jeep diff then going to some mod shop
check measurements and everything and you should be ok!

check junkyards for 1990s infinity, I believe it was the Q45 that had one that fit exactly, also some s14 came with lsd's

yes q45 will work, and various models of 240sx's like equiped w/HICAS do have them, but your best bet bang for buck. Check the forums on ZIVIA.net or ka-t.org people are selling used lsd's all the time for good deals. But you must check with your axels and see how many bolt they are because many 240 guys upgrade to a 5 bolt axle. just do some searching. the only thing i wonder is if your car only works sometimes, or if it does lock up because a viscous lsd isnt the greatest for drifting lsd's are made for different applications, where a v-lsd will lockup (better than open) but not great for drifting applications, you might want to go with a 2 way lsd or maybe 1.5 way lsd. OR just weld it if you dont mind hopping the rear end around while parking your car at the grocery store, but great for drifting.

uh jeep diffs and 240 diffs are 2 completly diffrent beast, hech jeeps came with like over 20 diffrent diffs over the years, the best thing would be to look for some sort of import or nissian vendor, and not to mention you need to know what your doing with gear work, u need to know about backlash and all that good stuff
