If you have a daily driver and the price is right I would buy it. You could use it as a track car/weekend car. From what I have heard VTEC and boost dont go well together though. That could be causing that bucking, not sure. Bad tune could also be the problem.

I personally wouldnt take that car though.

how about getting a s2k and adding all the goodies yourself? It's not good if you don't know the cars exact history and plus your 1st instinct was hesitant to buy it. I would NEVER buy a boosted car unless i know the complete history. different if your buying a beater.

yea, its never a real good idea to buy any used turbo car because you dont know if the owners of it knew how to properly take care of a turbo car like letting it chill after driving etc........i say what twint88supra says and just get a used n/a s2000 and then buy the goodies for it

I'm not going to get the car. Found out that there is no 6th gear at all! When I drove it I only went into 4th gear because we were just going around a city (Arlington).
I did test drive a stock S2000, but - hmmm - it's not as fast as I remember them. Those cars really do need more power IMO.

Does it miss at all? Does it sputter at any time through out the rev-range? Does it have any soot in the pipes? does it have plenty of oil-return from the turbo? I noticed from the pics, and I may be wrong, but is that red hose coming from the oil return from the engine? it's awful close to the outlet of that turbo, without proper shielding. I'd be afraid of it melting the hose, or at least weakening it to the point of rupture.
It didn't miss, and it only ran poorly below about 5000RPM. The exhaust pipes were sooty (rich). The turbo kit has been on there for 2 years, and all the hoses looked to be in good condition.
