Default Nissan Altima SE-R?

I saw a red one the other day and the car looked amazing. Caught my attention for sure. I was just wondering what you guys thought about this car. Like it or not? Anyone drive one and what was it like? Any info you have on the car would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

it looks wild, i like it very much also

i know it comes with the 2.5L or the 3.5L engine, which is the same as in the Maxima (and the maxima Hauls ass and its the same engine as the 350Z) so in a lighter body it should have amazing results!

the Se-R is a company modded Se altima and they put:
_body styling all around
_smoked tail lights
_super light 18" rims
_stiffened and lowered suspension
_sway bars!
_giant discs and huge calipers
_sport seats
_350Z dials
_10hp+ (260hp)
_LSD
_6spd
its 4000$ more than the Altima Se
0-100km:6.1seconds
1/4mile:14.50
but its 36 898$ca, so you can get the Maxima with 275Hp and almost the same specs, or an Acura TL which looks a bit pimper OR the new Mazda 6 Speed which is turbo'ed!!!!

i think the Mazda OwnZ all of the above. and you can get it AWD!!!
but if your sticking to nissan, go for the Maxima or hell even the 350Z for 3000$ +

I think that maxima you posted the pic of is an older one, not that it matters. I think the 3.5 altima is a good buy, but the SE-R is 30 grand, and for that price there are a lot more powerful cars.

I could get a 05 Altima SE-R (red) with 6K miles for about 20K. I checked autotrader a couple of hours ago.

The reason I asked about this car was my friend who has a Altima 3.5SE told me to check them out. And when I saw one it looked pretty nice. Not sure I would get one though.

I'd roll one. Out of the cars Marek listed(which are all great rides) the Altima SE-R is the lightweight so I'd save the money and roll with it, plus with 270hp's(3.5L VQ) it should be fun

we actually had one as a rental car when I went home for thanksgiving. It was a peppy lil sucker off the line, it just fell on it's face after 70 mph. Looks good and has lots of room.

Im really looking to get a WRX or STI (used). But I was looking at the Altima SE-R as an alternative. Since my friend mentioned it to me.

You are better of getting a 2.5rs and modding it yourself. And if you do go Sti, glue that f#cking WING down and ADd rivets cause that sh1t likes to fly off...
And the Seats arent comfy and they are f#cking blue... and yes GAY blue

is that true???? if it fell off i would just get it and go glue it on someone elses car so when they go to their car they would be like WTF....and i think the sti might look good w/o the wing imo
