well ive been assigned the job for figuring this out, my moms car went dead the other day, (2001 Accord v6) dad had to go give her a jumpstart and since then stereo or cd player wont work it says somehint like CODE on the screen, anybody know what to do, or help me find some online manuals

look for a 5-digit code printed inside your glove box, if there isnt maybe u should contact your dealer , or call honda , give them the s/n and get the code , im not sure of that but every car has its own

there is a 5 digit code, and i entered it using the radio preset numbers, is there a certain way im suppsed to enter them or what

ok try this
press the 1 and 6 button while powering the radio on. The serial number shows up in the display. First it will display the 1st five numbers, then the last five and its not uncommon to have letters mixed in as well. Call Honda service, give them the last 6 of your VIN# and give them the radio serial #. They'll give you the code and you're in business!
