hey i have a question and well i was wondering how BMW or other motor company's can make a GASOLINE direct injection motor without the gas vaporizing before it goes into the chamber... i'm really puzzled with this and was wondering if any one could shed some light on it...
p.s i'm not asking about direct injection deisel's i know how they work ![]()

The precise control over fuel and timing permits the instantaneous mixture atomization.

so they don't use any thing to keep it from vaporizing?
the chamber gets soo hot that it's hard to even time it right without all the gas vaporizing in the injectors. idk do you have a diagram for it or something? thanks

Pretty sure vaporization is what you want, since gasoline vapors are what burns, not the liquid. The injectors are spraying the fuel into the chamber right before combustion right?
