It was in the cobra, the ls1, the vette and viper I think too. I think those getrags hold up pretty well if you have a stick shift turbo beerba, unless you're going crazy power.

If you want a T56 to be reliable at 600 hp, you are looking at a minimum at a beefing it up with things like steel shift forks, Viper output shaft, etc. Look to spend about $1200 incl labour, depending on what options you choose.
If you want "bulletproof", look at a G-force built T56 - bring lots of $$$ ![]() |
