Nitrous, Cheating?

I <333 nitrous!! you have no idea how much!!

I have a friend in AZ who has a E36 M3 built NA that puts out nearly 450hp with nitrous. His setup is that the nitrous comes in at 3000rpm and doesn't end till 7500 rpm (or when he flips the switch off) in every gear, not that Fast&Furious "push the button" bullsh*t. damn it pulls like a rape ape!!

Cheating??? Is there a shortcut to the finish line? Cuzz if there is, i'd like to know about it. winning is winning.

yeah after 150 meters you turn left, then travel for 3 miles untill you hit a dead end, then you backtrack 2 miles to the turnoff you should of taken now you would turn left down there and only travel for 75 meters, turn right and follow that for 1 mil and you will hit the race track again, now turn left onto the track and finish the last bit of the race and you should lose by about 20 minutes.

to me if you turn and say my car hits 12's but fail to mention you use the bottle then yeah it can be called cheating...

That is correct !!!

No, N2O is not cheating. It is a mod like any other mod. It just yeilds more power than most others do. Run what ya brung is the rule. If 2 people race and agree to run heads up all motor and 1 guy sprays w/ the other guy not knowing, then it is cheating because they broke an ageement. However, if they race and no certain terms were agreed upon, then run what ya brung. It is no different than someone adding another type of power added. Yes it has to be refilled, but S/C'ers and turbos have to be well maintained as well ( adding methanol, checking belts for slippage, checking for boost leaks, oiling etc....) It's there when you want it or need it and it's not there when you dont. It is by far the easiest and cheapest HP/ dollar mod you car do, that is why it is popular, and if installed properly and not run at crazy levels on a motor that is not built to handle crazy levels of N2O, then it is safe and usable. It is kinda the same thing when ford HAD to S/C the 03/04 cobra to make good power, they got tired of getting their ass handed to them by N/A GM power. Good for them, alot of GM guys cried about it " but they need a blower " blah blah blah......we had the solution the entire time, they use a power added, we got N20.

N20 is not cheating. It's a power adder just like anything else.

As far as telling someone before you race why? Are you supposed to tell every single mod that you have so they can decide whether or not they want to run? If they have the balls enough to race they need to have the balls enough to pay when they lose.

Sure I may not be some hardcore racing fanatic but at least I know that if you go to race your going to compete on what THEY have and what YOU have...if you dont have nos and you lost to someone 'with' nos, then you learned to get some freakn nos and stop crying...not to make the question seem like you lost from someone with nos
